Arizona is one of the most magnificent states in our union! The diversity in nature alone is a photographer's dream. Not only does this state have a wide variety of deserts, plants and animals indigenous to this type of landscape, but also mountains and forests with totally different forms of plants, fauna and wildlife. Rivers in Arizona also provide this state with exotic vistas for visual and recreational enjoyment and they provide the water supply for drinking and basic living needs.
Pine Top, Arizona makes you feel like you are not in the state of Arizona at all. The lush environment of pine trees and other plants makes this four seasonal area a delightful get-away place for those who live in the more desert regions. It has that western/cowboy feel that makes you feel relaxed and yet energized to take on new challenges in outdoor activities. I happened to be visiting some friends who live in Tucson half of the year and Pine Top during the rest of the year. It was November 2009 when they got one of the first snowfalls of the season. It looked as much like a winter wonderland as any place I have ever seen in our Northern, Northwestern or Northeastern states. It was a wet snow that didn't last long, but I grabbed my camera and had a great day photographing the snow covered trees and pine needles.
