This amazing adventure was so exciting and breathtakingly beautiful that our biking group decided to return again in August 2011 with even more of our friends. We used Cycle Treks which is a company owned by Great Pacific Adventures. They provided wonderful accommodations, trustworthy equipment, great conversation and learning experiences, plus one of my favorite things to do—eat fantastic food!

The natural beauty of the Northwest is a spectacular sight from a bicycle. Although the hills were sometimes very challenging, it was worth it to work up an appetite for the fresh, indigenous varieties of fish and organic vegetables, fruits, coffee and tea that many places served. We traveled in and around the coastal towns, back roads and old railroad beds throughout these pristine islands. I often stopped to admire a perfect view and of course capture the moment with my camera.
